Allium
Alliums are quite hardy, and do not require any special care. The tall flowering varieties are suitable for border plantings, while the smaller, lower flowering varieties are excellent for rock gardens. They should be planted in fall in a sunny location. The larger bulbs should be planted 5-6” deep, the smaller bulbs only 2-3” deep. The bulbs can be left in the garden undisturbed for many, many years.
